I was wondering what you all suggest for food and water for red runner roaches (Blatta lateralis)? I want to try and start a colony and the only thing I have left to figure out is what to feed and what to do for water. (and a place to get red runners for not to expensive).

What is the best way for me to ship mantises and ooths safely to people? If I walk into the post office with them or if I told them what I was shipping would they care? Anything I need to know I guess.

My green female had a sort of green under-color under her brown from a few molts before adulthood but when she molted to adult she changed drastically and became rather green. Although she still has a little brown in her wings.

Finally got one to mate and she laid an ooth a few days later. So heres to hoping it all works out well. Ghost ooths do not need a dipause right?

About how long will the female take to lay her first ooth if she is unfertilized

They are about three weeks into adult for all of them and they have been separated since they were around L3. Ill try warming them too and moving to a whole new room for a few days.
