So.... adult chinese mantis have wings - do they fly? One of my nymphs has molted out with full length wings and I don't want to take it out now if it's going to fly to the ceiling. Also, is it now adult, or will there be other molts? Thanks!!

So I had an L1 nymph mis-molt quite badly tonight, all of his back legs were beyond help so I very quickly put him out of his misery between 2 pieces of paper towel and when I looked he had "bled out" red! Is this normal? I have never squished one before. Poor little thing.

Not great pics as I dropped my lens and had it repaired it hasn't been the same but you can still tell what they are. On a positive note, I'm finally learning hot to get the fruit flies out of the jar without them going everywhere or messing up the stuff at the bottom! How often are you guys...
