    The 261 days old lineola checked out of this world. Lived with only one arm :) My daughter didn´t really like the bugs but found this mantis a bit special. She made this iceball so it can sleep well :) I think this pic is great.

    Shield mantis - armlock?

    I have a Rhombodera with a problem. One of the arms locks when ex missing a target, completely out of order. i use to take a straw and bend it free,click, and it is all normal again. So my question is, is this a normal thing? if i don´t help it it never opens.

    This is what i found this morning. The exosceleton looked fine, but the creature livin inside was not, both rap-arms was loose after molt. It was alive and crawl around on the ground.. This was a freezer sitauation. How can the arms break like that in a molt?
