Hi I'm Tom.

I got my first mantis who's a fresh L6 Chinese Mantis and owen several other pets that include a budgie avery, 250 litre tropical tank and a rabbit named Sir Robert the Destroyer.
First time mantis owner and novice forum poster.

I'll be happy to answer any other questions about myself and happy that I was allowed entry into this forum!

Thanks that meals a lot to me. I love the succulents, they look so alien and easy to keep and also took some inspiration from the Paramonian temple from Abe's Oddysee (my locust enclosure below encapsulates that more).

There's enough ventilation at the top as I've drilled holes and my mantis loves to sunbathe on the light a few hours a day.

So far as I know I bought a female, however I'm having doubts - I'm having trouble counting all of the segments. =P

Welcome to the forum! If you're unsure about sexing your mantis, you can always post a picture of the underside of its abdomen in the general section of the forums for others' opinions.
