Well, all of my mantids have passed a while ago, and I've been missing them. Then, last week someone found a female miomantis perched on their head (after leaving my place, riding a bike a few miles, going shopping and then found it when infront of a mirror). I was a bit surprised to hear this, but I suppose it must have been eating spiders and stray fruitflies, and I guess bugs do hitch hike on people sometimes.. anyway she was 7 mos old and died yesterday. Now I really want some more mantids. Anyone have a spare ooth?
