Chinese Ootheca WILL NOT HATCH!!

Ok.... I have had 3 chinese mantis ooths with none that hatched ive had the first 2 ever since January or February nontheless I keep them in a screen cage outside in L.A. I mist them about twice a day with 2 spritz so they dont dry out but still none have hatched. So I bought a Cup-O-Mantis (chinese mantis) in April also this one has been misted every so often. I dont get what I am doing wrong can anybody help me Mantises are super cool and yet I am unsuccesfull at even hatching one.

Most likely you're not doing anything wrong. Sounds like the ooths you have have already hatched or were infertile to begin with.

If the one in april did not hatch, then ask me for anohter at [email protected], I have some new ones coming up, so I would not mind replacing it for you! Poor baby, I know how hard it is to wait.
