Happy new year folks.Haven't posted anything in a while. Hope everyone is well. I think I burned my mantis bridge a little by having 50 at one time. It stopped being personal and more like a job. Hours just to do a feeding. Im down to 18 now...most dying from old age. If I do decide to keep mantis im gonna keep a lot less. Maybe 2 or 3 here and there so its more personal. One thing I don't remember does my membership payment get taken automatically or do I have to manually pay it? Again happy new year and I hope youre all well ; )

 
Welcome back blood.

I think a large majority of us have been in those shoes lol... I had well over a hundred XD.

Needless to say I shortend my crew as well. What're you still keeping

 
The max I keep on as permanent residents at once is five and I really prefer something in between 1-3. I find it a lot more fun when I am mostly just enjoying their presence and the actual cage cleaning/feeding/maintenance type work only takes about ten minutes a day.

I didn't know you had an idolo blood. That's awesome!... How old?

 
I have no clue how old it is or what it is male or female id say its maybe 1 1/2 -2 in tall it hasn't molted in a while so I don't expect it to last long. Havent seen it eat either but I see cricket remnants in its cage ( 12 in mesh cube ) Everyone else is molting right. 60 % humidity where the cages are. Just tired of the death. I got 2 baby bearded dragons at an expo 7-8 months ago they both fit in my palm...now theyre like a foot long and eating everything. I didn't even want to get back into reptiles my ex..ex wife did ; x

 
Im down to just miomantids caffras as my one species 1 male 2 females one presub one l4.

Didn't do good with me first attempt at breed spiny flowers as my only male I had make it do its last molt was eaten before he. Could do his deed.

Had a pair of popas but the oothecas never hatched.

Not necessarily.. I've got a adult female and a presub male. If you no longer want it... Maybe we could strike a deal?

I wouldn't be feeding the idolo crux though... I've heard that's a huge no-no

 
other than fruit flies ive never messed with the large flies. Ive never shipped anything either so i'll probably just keep it ...plus if it crapped the bed on the way or soon after id feel terrible ; (
