D. melanogaster for L1 Amantis nawaii ?

Hello,

This morning, 11 cute little L1 of Amantis nawaii are hatching for one of my ooths. They are now in a box with D. melanogaster , the little species of drosophilla ( the oranje, not the black).

So my question...theses L1 are so little that I am not sure they can eat that drosophalla. Maybe must I give them other food...but...what ?

i don't how big this species is as hatchlings but i will say that even though they are probably not eating yet and may seem too small for the melanogaster, it is best to wait at least a day (preferably 2 or 3) until introducing food to hatchlings. if after 2 or 3 days they still cannot catch the fruit flies, springtails may be a good idea. this thread my be helpful:
