the end of the female's abdomen is a prominent spike, while the male has a very short blunt last segment

my pair mated today

the male hopped on immediately and they stayed connected for about 2 hours

  :)  That is funny! I caught three large flies on my windows today, and my subadult ghosts devoured them!
