My name is Jo and have become suddenly obsessed with mantids over the past few months. Unsure how this really happened haha but I’ve been catching green garden mantids and grass mantids from my own yard! From what I can tell online I’m quite lucky to find them in my own garden. Georgie is my latest one I’ve found and I thought it was a brown mantid like the large girl I found as an adult (Georgina who also laid an oothica within a week of housing her)!
If anyone could help tell me which one this little guy is I’d really appreciate it! He is an L3 now and he’s changed from brown with black marking on his legs to now the most gorgeous bluey green legs and pincers with a greyish green body?
