House flies in the fridge question

Can adult house flies be kept in the refrigerator for any extended period of time? How long can they stay dormant before they die?

Yes. Not sure on how long though.

Take them out when ever and give them food and water put them back in fridge when done

I feed them for a day after they hatch, then put them in the fridge. I use them up in a week so I know they will live a week at least

They live up to a month in fridge if you feed them.

Thanks everyone. They've had honey mixed with bee pollen and plenty to drink so I think I'll chill them out now.
