Hah, so I've had an old bag of almonds sitting around for a while. Just noticed today some mold, and kinda freaked - especially when I noticed worms.

Then I noticed that there were a bunch of moths in there - Looks like I'm set for feeding for a while =)

ANyone know if I should just keep the moths in the bag? Or should I transfer them to something else.

Hi,

I have the same situation as you. In my buttery starts to fly some little mols - Ephestia kuehniella. They are everywhere! In pastas, cookies, chips, nuts, flour, sugar etc.

They are eating all stuff and you must to trash away all stuff with larvas. It's hard to fight with them - My method is feeding them to mantises and geckos - they love eat them ! But I never even think about to breed them for feeding. Too dangerous for stuff in the kitchen.
