Rocks and wood for enclosure

Hi I am wondering can I use pieces of rock and wood for my mantises enclosure. They have been in an aquarium for about 3 years but I have got rid of the aquarium. I have poured boiling water all over the rocks and wood and given them a scrub and they are now outside in the freezing cold. Would they be safe to use or would you not trust them thanks from Tom

I tend to go for the safe side also... sound like you covered all the bases... I even slow & low bake the sticks I gather from outside... Had a bad experience with sticks, when I bred birds years ago.
