my female sprayed some weird stuff one time to i thought it was just pee or something. acctually i think she did it twice. quite messy. and no males or anything around it was just random and gross

This is kind of an add on to the post i made a while ago about keeping my mantis in a plant. I just wanted to let everyone know that as good as it is for keeping it clean and easy to just leave the mantis there, she has become SO territorial because she thinks shes in the wild that i cant hold...

My african used to allllways want to walk on me and play on me and ever since she has been an adult she has been mean and teh same way.. maybe its just our africans cause i was wondering the same way. i cant even hold her anymore

is she acctually dead or playing?!

this is seriously the last thing that i thought would ever happen because i didnt mate her and i didnt think they could still lay eggs!.. so weird to me And this last picture i find it so funny when she does this cause i dont know if its liek defensive or whatever

My mantis layed an egg the other night or whatever you guys call those..The thing is she has never mated.. sooooo why did she lay an egg... is it just infertile or something? Ill post pics as soon as they are loaded

my mantis's eyes turn blood red from time to time.. and then it goes away.. shes healthy and its normal to me

i always walk around with her thats the only way she eats is when im holding her because she livfes in a plant and i walk her outside to catch moths sometimes...its fine
