Hello Justin Thanks mate…I cover the top of the Cage with a black piece of ladies tights, then a rubber band. i found this a good choice as i have a very small hole in the tights that i put the food through, so I don’t have to take the tights of to feed, the tights are to long and this helps...

I did see a video of these little guys the other week, i found it through Goole search. They look like they should be in a Alian film, now thats a great idea for the film directores. wish we had them here in england.

They only mated for 30 mins? Most mantids including chinese mate for several HOURS. You need to mate them again. Rick o god, agian lol, i thought it was all over and done with, dam, i thought there was a catch lol, o well i will do it again then, at least he will know what to do this...

Bingo Rick, today I just about gave up and went to put the 2 Chinese mantis back in there cage, left them out for a few day in a room on a plant. Just as I moved the plant to get them back in, he flew up in the air like crazy and landed straight on her the wrong way and with in a split second...
