    Yen Saw - (US)

I bought 5 Pseudocreobotra wahlbergii, 5 Gongylus gongylodes and 2 Phyllovates chlorophaea from Yen about a week ago and everyone arrived safe and sound in a great packing job. Yen is incredibly responsive and great with tips for caring for your mantids as well. Thanks, Yen! -Katie

    Problem with Poo

Using a moistened q-tip has helped me in the past with removing a piece of dried ootheca and it has helped me remove pieces of shed skin that didn't want to fall off. Good luck!

    Davedood

I just purchased 6 ghost mantids from Dave and they arrived safe and sound in a most excellent packing job. He even threw in some extras! Dave is very quick to respond to messages and I would absolutely do business with him again. All of my specimens are healthy, very active and they came at...

    Shield Mantis - Bad Molt

I moved the lil guy into a smaller container and tossed in a couple of roach nymphs last night hoping that would give him a better chance at catching some grub and he decided to molt. One of the roaches (or both) started grubbin on one of his arms, he's really hunched over and his back left leg...

    Shield Mantis - Bad Molt

Thank you all very much for the suggestions. I tried squishing roach guts into his mouth last night and he actually started swatting at me like he was irritated and just done with my shenanigans. lol I'll try it again tonight though. It's good to know I should mist him daily as I was only...

    Shield Mantis - Bad Molt

Howdy folks - I have a R. basalis that molted kinda bad going in its L4 stage. His 2 back legs are pretty dysfunctional unfortunately. I have since found out that a screen or paper towel is good for the molting process and they all have paper towels now. Anyhoo, the shield has taken live prey...

    WTB: P. paradoxa & P. wahlbergii

Hi All - I just got into the hobby and am looking for both Phyllocrania paradoxa and Pseudocreobotra wahlbergii. I want to try to buy from the same person if possible to cut down on shipping costs but I realize that may not be possible... I am also interested in male and female pairs if you...

Hi All! I just started collecting mantises maybe a year ago but have only had a few specimens and maybe 3 different kinds. They have slowly become my favorite invert in the house :) My hubby and I collect tarantulas, centipedes, scorpions, beetles... I'm sure I'm forgetting something! I...
