Hello!!

I just recently adopted a ghost mantis, and while she is in a well temperature controlled environment at the moment, the house i will be bringing her into has low insulation and gets very, very cold in the mornings and at night. I know people talk about using ceramic heating mats but from what I’ve seen they’re far out of my price range, would a fabric heating pad also work or is that not as advisable?

I am using zoo med repti therm pads on my majuscula mantis's enclosure. Is that what you mean by ceramic heat mats?

I’m not too sure actually, I might be using entirely incorrect terminology I’ve just seen that wording once or twice - what you mentioned definitely looks like what I’ve heard described though!
