Can a scented candel harm my mantis? or like rubbing alcohol just the smell no contact at all obviously , sum things I seen online say yes it can but others say they have no sense of smell

Yes. That being said I've run a diffuser in a room with a mantis (accident) overnight before and he was still alive in the morning. The door was closed and everything.

If you're gonna use candles or the like, do it in a room far from your mantises and close the door to their room.
