    Vomiting Problem

I do have house flies, should I be feeding her a few each day? I figure she needs to keep eating a lot so she can lay an ootheca in the next few weeks.

    Vomiting Problem

My female Hierodula Majuscula is continuing to vomit a portion of her meal up every time I feed her. I have been attributing this to the 45 degree bend in her thorax, which I thought would be preventing her from digesting the food properly. She does manage to keep most of the food down, which is...

    Stubborn Pnigomantis

As CosbyArt is suggesting, it is important to vary their diet, as like humans, they will get sick of eating the same food each and every day. I had a similar problem with feeding my mantis the same food, and when I made the switch, he started eating well again. I hope this helps :)

    Very Weak?

If her bud wings are swollen and she is not eating, I would say she is getting ready to moult. I have noticed that they become quite sluggish and weak as they come closer to moulting, as I think they are storing the energy to complete the process. She may have fallen from the roof as she was...

I have cleaned it partially with a wet tissue, but it is hard to get near her eyes and antennae, and I'm not...

    Feeding a Crippled Mantis

My female Hierodula Majuscula went through her last moult into adulthood last week, and she became stuck which resulted in her being quite crippled and unable to catch prey herself. I've heard of people feeding their crippled mantids cat or dog food, so I have been feeding her wet dog food (lamb...
