    Hello From Canada

Hey I’m near Vancouver and I have 3 ooths that I’m trying to find home for! She was a lovely European Mantis that we caught outside. Are you close by??

Local person to take 3 ooths off my hands?

Looking for someone near Vancouver BC, lower mainland  I have 3 ooths from my recently deceased European Mantis. I’d prefer to find someone local so not to have to deal with shipping issues. I’m a newbie so the easier the better.  They are being carefully stored in the fridge as of now.

She did it ? lol I feel so happy. No idea if they are fertilized or not. Should I leave it in her enclosure? Shes happily munching on a cricket right now , her tummy shrunk so much!

    She’s laying an ooth!!

I hope I haven’t disturbed her too much ?.  Earlier when I was looking for her I was shining the flashlight at her. I tiptoed over to have a peek a little while ago - without flashlight this time, and she doesn’t look finished. It’s been a couple hours.

She has been eating a ton. Until very recently actually , yesterday she didn’t want the cricket I tried to feed her. Her belly got pretty big.

    She’s laying an ooth!!

Twiggy Girl , our first ever Mantis and the one we found at the airport on some cargo, is currently laying an ooth in the leaves of her enclosure! I decided to have a look for her because I’ve noticed she seemed different lately, perhaps a little weak. She hasn’t looked as strong hanging from...

    Over fed?

Thanks I’ve read conflicting info about it, how often / much should we be offering her food?

    Over fed?

Twiggy girl has gotten enormous!! She eats everything we offer her, possibly due to her being wild and starving when we found her? Is she too big?? She ate a spider yesterday after having 3 or 4 days without.

    New house for Twiggy Girl

Lol I never thought about plastic containers but I only paid $10 for the tank. I’m really excited about the Ghost Mantids but where do I even start looking. I’m located in south west British Columbia near Vancouver

    Spiders in enclosure? Help

Hi my husband caught 6 spiders outside and he just put them all in Twiggy Girls cage ? is that safe?? They aren’t really big but is this putting her in danger of being taken by a spider?? I protested but husband insists. They are garden spiders so they aren’t venomous ..
