Spiders in enclosure? Help

Hi my husband caught 6 spiders outside and he just put them all in Twiggy Girls cage ? is that safe??

They aren’t really big but is this putting her in danger of being taken by a spider?? I protested but husband insists. They are garden spiders so they aren’t venomous ..

Spiders can work as for, but you must be careful with them. I’ve lost a couple presub Chinese to orbweavers (which I turned around and raised ?) 

its not just the danger from the spider itself, but the webs. They are a bare to clean out. And if you ever decide to let any nymphs hatch in that aquarium, you must be 100% efficient in removing every web, or you will lose a few to the stickyness of the webs. But if you keep up on it, it should be alright ?

I'm sure they're out there, but I haven't really heard of a spider not being venomous so I would be very careful. Although small, if a spider can make a web, it's a complete game changer no matter what size. I would be VERY careful. When I feed spiders, if they aren't eaten within minutes, I usually try a different feeding technique or release them. Personal I think it's too risky to leave them in there.

Am constantly having to remove steatodas of varying sizes who sneak into my reptile aquariums. I hate them. They not only steal food from the frogs, toads, lizards and mantises but pose a real danger because they grow so rapidly. One of our amblypygids was hiding. I found out a giant steatoda was living behind her cork bark. When i removed it, her behavior went back to normal. So i would be very careful about letting spiders in with anyone because some are venomous and annoying as well. I have come to despise steatodas...we are always getting bit by them too and they breed constantly in the house.

Just took a fat steatoda out of our anoles cage. They get in when they are tiny, eat the feeders and grow rapidly, presenting a danger to ither occupants in the tank. Would not use them to feed mantises.

I wont feed my mantids spiders because spiders can bite back and then gone mantis. I dont want to risk mantis lives.

That’s for the replies, I wasn’t really feeling ok with the spiders . I’ll make sure there aren’t any webs ?
