Really would like a bit more help info. if gnats are in there, you may have to clean it out and restart it, Try to find the source & remove it.
I second this! More info is needed for anyone to be able to provide you with any help or assistance. I found springtails to be beneficial for reducing fungus gnats in my case. They eat all the icky gross stuff that fungus gnats also like to eat.

Fast forward ⏩ The Tank dryed up so all the gnats are gone i waited for two weeks because thats how long gnats live.
I have put Isopods in and also added springtails.
But i can still see like five gnats or so, but out of my tiny experience with gnats i can already guess that there will be a second gnat invasion. What should i do?

You can get the mosquito dunks or bits and make a spray application (if you just throw a piece on nothing happens).

I don’t like using springtails as they multiply to quickly for me. Pods are your best bet unless you have some tiny mantis you can put in for a while and let them eat them. When all you seem gone replace with the original one.
