    Parasites in Iris oratoria

That happened to me to one of my Stagmomantis limbata's that I captured from Prescott, AZ. I got rid of the parasites. I wished I had kept the parasites to see what it would develop into. Post pics of the adult parasites. Be nice to see what they look like and how they infect Mantids. -Kevin

    S. limbata hatching

I'm currently over-wintering my Limbatas because the environment I caught them in gets really cold in the Winter. I'll bring them in around March or April to incubate and hatch. This is my first time with Limbatas so I don't know if they need to over-winter but I'm guessing they do. It would be...

    Curly Legs

I don't know if there is much you can do. Just make sure he has a great surface to molt from - sometimes paper towels that line the lid can help. If he is successful molting into an adult then his legs should be good as normal. I wish you the best, -Kevin

    sad day

Sorry to hear that Royz :( . One suggestion would be is to line the top of your containers with paper towels. I think one of your containers is glass at the top - so not a great surface to molt from. All my young nymphs molted fine and with no problems when molting from the paper towels that...
