    My Tarantulas

Great Tarantulas I have 5 gramasola pulchripes and all 5 are female for some reason I have found that my G. pulchripes have really small spermatheca compared to other Tarantulas (of the same size) that I have real hard to see. Hierodula venosa

This is the only time I got this one to stay still long enough for a picture. She is usually trying to get to my iPhone  or my hand. My other one is the shy one. The both are agresive hunters they will chase down moths very quickly. Except prior to a molt.

wolf spider cool I saw one a couple nights ago that had a 2" dls. I shine a flashlight out in my yard at night and see hundred's  of wolf spiders but that  2" one is the largest I have found. Feeding schedule for a nymph

A smaller containers is a good idea especially if feeding flightless flies. Ghost like for the prey to come to them. Also if your ghost refuses food it may time to molt they are L2 for a very short time a couple weeks or so. Once your ghost Mantis is able to take flying flies a bigger enclosure...

    Ghost mantids molting really fast

Is it possible that you received a L3 instead of a a L4? I received my female on 10/01/2015 as a L3 now from L4 to L7 mature adult took right at 13 weeks she matured on 12/30/2015. There wing buds (not sure of the technical term) will start to swell up before mature molt. This may explain the...

One issue I see is trying to find a post on enclosures and housing that pertains to my mantid species or mantid size.I know there are tags to help search but they depend...
