There are a few people with them by the way, but I know many oothecae were shipped to Japan and Peru this yr so demand will stay up Im sure since they didn't establish as well as we could have last yr.

    Empusa pennata pair

I plan to wait maybe 2 weeks before introducing them, they seem to live on a shorter grow, and breeding cycle in order to have 2 generations going at once.

    It jumped in my car!

Sounds more like a common criminal than an assassin, other wise you wouldn't have know he was there.

    Nymph Cups

Please do not disrespect the OP he worked hard to come up with new ideas and share them with everyone. I for one like the cups and I know cat's are evil, unnatural and bad for the hobby.

    Nymph Cups

Yeah cat's can be a problem for mantid hobbyists, I have a friend she has 5 cats and Im always worried on of them will kill the bugs I send her. The cups are a cheap easy way to keep your nymphs seperate at yoinger instars. I would put them in the cage under the same conditions you would just...

    Pseudoharpax virescens help

Good luck with them, we have them on the warmer side of room temp with a basking option. I have 2 ootheca incubating one at room temp one at 80 hoping to see if there are issues with either. Also we are not misting much at all for the nymphs.

    Behold! The Ferrari of misters!

$6 at Lowes, I have 4-5 of them. I sit them on a 30'' strip of 6'' heat tape so I have a steady supply of warm misting water. The seals go bad if you overpump it and not release the pressure.

    Heat Tape

Good eye, well its a much better product than the first editions of flexwatt, I used it for hundreds of reptile units the connectors, cover clips were , the tape eas easily creased and lower watt than the new stuff. It seems like an entirely new product. Michael

Yeah the temps are stready but USPS is going down hill fast I like to make sure my boxes are just supported so their not crushed. Its bad enough I've seen holes in the boxes, even had one with what Im sure was a hole from a fork on a forklift go through it.
