Pseudoharpax virescens help

does anyone know how many molts they have male and female, does females have extra molt? how long to mature is it short as creo. picc.? best temps for these guy. i picked up a few and am looking to have good success with them for maybe a few generations. the dedicated care sheet doesnt get too much in detail about these molts and such but still has alot of good info as i see one membet kept them at 100f.

mine seem to be molting every 2 weeks or less. i give them a light misting every other day. temps 75-80 seems to be working for me.

..and these little guys eat a lot.

good i have temps for them at 83 to 86 now when i get them and about 5 fly culture going so food will be ready, lol.

Good luck with them, we have them on the warmer side of room temp with a basking option. I have 2 ootheca incubating one at room temp one at 80 hoping to see if there are issues with either. Also we are not misting much at all for the nymphs.

thanks bt, my humdity in there room is a constant 40 without any misting , so easily i can bring it up.

anyone how if the females have a extra molt? just wondering so i can cool the males down some.

Not sure but maybe you can PM Nikko and ask him. He should know for sure.

I do not think the males have an extra molt. They molt at about the same time. The first to molt to adult of the seven nymphs I got as L2 or L3 was a female and then soon after that a male molted to adult.

For many flower sp, its best to let the female hit adult sooner than the male...so if I were you, I would get her on molt ahead of him just because...

they need it hot and dry

they need a lot of food and a lot of room

both sexes molt 6 times and adults r very short lived

thanks agent a, i will keep them like mendica, and they dont need misting from what i heard. they will be kept individually.
