Shouldn’t be that big of a problem with such a old mantis. They can go a few weeks without eating(and though not recommended). I wouldn’t worry too much about It unless her abdomen is really skinny.

I never really do anything with my sticks excpet give them a quick run down for other bugs. Never had a problem that I know of.

Perfect idea! I used to do this last summer. Worked perfectly. You can also use a bucket. Problem now is there is snow lol
