    Water Sealer for Wood

If you are on youtube, check out Lizard_Landscapes channel. He does alot of sweet builds and even covers a few tree stump and bark styled builds made with Styrofoam and grout that I'm going to eventually attempt to build. They are fun to build, but it does get a bit messy with all the Styrofoam...

    Water Sealer for Wood

If you look up custom reptile tanks, reptile diy enclosure, diy reptile home... you'll find alot of great ideas. You can also look into checking out the enclosure threads at beardeddragonforum.com for more ideas (where I've been collecting my data, as I will be building one or two for my...

    Ootheca layout opinion?

You'll want to put the "zipper" side pointed down towards the ground. I hot glue them to the lid myself,  but allow the hot glue to cool a bit before sticking on.

Tenodera sinensis: My Very First Time Raising Nymphs!

Alternatively you can divide a 10 gallon aquarium in half, making two 5 gallon homes within the tank for two mantids. This will give both individuals in that setup ample roaming and molting space. With the Chinese you'll want something bigger... bigger than a 32oz cup. (With Chinese I've always...

    Is it worth it?

They live around 10-15 years.. This is unrelated, however my girlfriend had a squirrel for over 12 years she had saved before it could open its eyes and was able to tame it and all.. That being said, and with anything really... If it's not exposed to human contact at an early age, I don't...

I could do custom built back walls for 10 gallon tanks? ;) ....maaaaaaybe. I'd have to build a few prototypes before actually releasing them for mantid-use. Shouldn't be too difficult though.

    Curiosity.

Really I was just curious, when logging into our forum (gateway page) it mentions we hold yearly contest and such... But I haven't really seen them since joining sometime ago. I do recall a couple members doing their own, but that too has been sometime ago. If I had anything worth tossing in...

    The other addiction.

Yeah, I'm usually pretty silent most the time anyway. I'm not much on talking, never really have been. ;)   Yeah I've noticed he's gone silent here, I think after the idolos he took a break... but he'll return, I chat with him about daily through Google's app "Hangout"

I suggest seperation within 3 or 4 days. they'll start to cannibalize by then. Mine always did. ;)

    10 gallon

I'm using a 10 for my dubias and a 10 for my hissers. I wouldn't use one that small on a group of mantids, that's too compact. Go with a 20G or bigger if your going to make a community tank for mantids. Then again I'll have to upgrade my roaches eventually, as more bodies equal more heat. Too...

    The other addiction.

@CosbyArt I've read that countless times as well, but i hope she maxes out. To me, that'd be ideal ;)   Alex (Mantidbro) finally managed to break me..I made my own YouTube channel and have uploaded a few videos of the two during a feeding. I'll throw the link at the bottom of this post...

11.09.16: She's growing up so fast, she's now nearly as wide as my knee. I also went into a local exotic pet store we have here and got to see a full grown beardie, he was absolutely giant! I cannot wait to see my two at full size. :D

It's all good, and I appreciate that dude. :) That's good to hear, you're lucky. ;)  the cat's still fairly young, and in its defense I will say it did what cats do and my expensive (and now a rare species to get...) mantids paid the price. However in my eye's?  It's been around long...

@CosbyArt Nah, Luckily I have them in my back bedroom and the door remains closed. I did have my male beardie in my bug room for awhile but decided I should maybe move him, he didn't like it in there. Guess it's a good thing I did...  Right? People boggle my mind, the small mindedness of...

    L3 ghost mantis food options

Alternatively you can use small moths as well, so long as the weather in your area is still allowing them. Try leaving your porch light on for awhile and check. I do this alot to save out on my own feeders. ;)

Honestly, I'd skin it while it was still breathing if it ever stepped close to the dragons room. That's a promise I made when I first recieved Valkyrie. Probably just going to step down for awhile, I can't keep putting myself through this continuous problem  (that it's keeper does nothing...
