When should i stop feeding my adult Hierodula female?

Don't stop feeding her yet if she still acts hungry. Could you post a pic? She could be eggbound, but two weeks as an adult seems too early for that to happen. At her age she should be ready to breed, but you will know for sure when she starts calling.

    Leg 'trapped' in skin

Even if she lost her leg, she would be fine. If she is not putting it on the ground, it is probably just because she can feel that something is wrong. Hopefully it will come off next molt. How far down her leg is it stuck? If it continues being a problem, you could always try amputating it.

    R. stalii adult male

Very nice! It is interesting how they tend to mature at different speeds. I still have a presub ghost, and another ghost who has been adult for over a month!

    Capable of recognizing food sources?

Yes, I agree with Rich - I think it definitely depends on how much you handle the mantis. I currently have only five mantids, and they all seem to be very comfortable with me holding them, since I handle them each every day and allow them time out of their containers. In the past though, when...

    First post-and a sad one...

Oh, I'm sorry she didn't make it. :( Don't feel bad though - you did everything you could. Mismolts will happen no matter what. I've lost at least seven mantids to mismolts in the past. Judging by your description, I'd say that she probably did not in fact make it all the way out of her...

    First post-and a sad one...

Okay, well is it four of her legs, or just the back two? And how clutched are they to her side? Are you sure that she made it completely out of her skin? She should be able to make it. :) I've seen mantids that don't even have their two back legs in the wild before.

    Barking up the wrong tree

Haha that's pretty funny. Kind of reminds me of my dog when she gets really playful and then drops down on the grass thinking that she's blending in.

    First post-and a sad one...

You can definitely try to save her! How much of her back legs are damaged?
