my Hierodula Grandis Female is very big, never seen a fat and big mantis like that before, but she just want more and more food. her abdomen is very huge, when should i stop feed her or will she stop eating when shes full?

My Female is about 2 weeks old into adult, when can i mate her with my Male? think the male is getting old too so getting scared that he might die soon, he have refused food the last 5 days now.

Don't stop feeding her yet if she still acts hungry. Could you post a pic? She could be eggbound, but two weeks as an adult seems too early for that to happen.

At her age she should be ready to breed, but you will know for sure when she starts calling.

Actually it does not matter as she should have about 6 to 8 bbs a day, or two crickets, no more and give her water each day. If you are feeding more than that then she is eating to much.

She like 3-5 times bigger then the male.

if the roaches are adult, one is plenty a day, we feed our pets to much as we eat to much, then they can't function propertly as same for us. water her like u always did,

u got her this far, so u r doing fine.

Yeah i give her adult ones, so il just keep feeding her 1 adult each day until she refuses food then?

I would, how many were u feeding her? I would even step it down to a half size if you have it, it wont hurt her. In the wild, they do not always get as much food as we give them, and I think they are as we would be with "less is more". Trust me, us girls can afford to skip a meal or two!
