They make good feeders I have fed them in worm form and in fly form 

Sorry I thought you were in Florida. it's weird that M.maya never spread to the western states from Mexico, mabye not enough humidity,I want to go to Florida Becuase they seem to have some awesome mantids 

Lol yeah, I thought that might happen Becuase it might look like aphids if read fast, bit I meant phidippus which is phidippus is easier to type 

I can't even think of what usda would say, Becuase there not exotic nor plant pest. so I can't imagine them making any sense if they say I woukd need a permit. I'll probably use fed ex and label harmless animal Becuase they are in fact harmless animals 

I'll ask the usps manager or whoever is in charge and make my case and  mabye talk to some of the works about it. I think a harmless spider should be fine to ship. this is off course a regulation made by the shipping service right ? Becuase I think they are not illgal to transport over state...

I was wondering about what USPS says spiders are not allowed to be shipped, now this is probably means dangerous or deadly spiders, becuase I buy phidippus jumpimg spiders and trade them sometimes. And since phidippus is native to the USA I believe that they are 100% legal to go over state lines...

I collect unicorn mantids with beating sheets they blend in so well it would take to long to spot each one so the beating sheet makes collecting easier. last summer I also used it for getting tons of phidippus jumping spiders 

I think making one is the best way to go, I used half inch dowel rods that were 3 feet long made and x shape used paracord to bind them but of course as reinforcement i took super glue and applied it to the paracord, te paracord absorbed all of the glue and turned rock hard. I then cut the sheet...
