Unfortunately I had to scroll really far back in my camera roll to get these photos. I wasn’t able to get a 3rd generation due to poor hatching numbers from the last ooths. Hope I’ll be able to keep this wonderful species again in the near future.

This is my female Sphodromantis: In general Sphodromantis are stockier and their abdomens are “curved” as nymphs. Most specimens are found in Africa.

Nope! Checked everything before I attached the ooths to it. Each ooth is easy to distinguish from the other.

I lost a huge chunk of my collection. The heater in my mantis room malfunctioned and brought my mantis room to 100 degrees, killing most of my mantises. This totally sucks, but it kinda shows that mistakes and malfunctions can happen to everyone.
