    Best way to hatch flies?

With a pooter...or just chill before feeding to hibernate them and slow them down.

    Allergies

I kinda figured. Using "I'm allergic" is an easy way to "justify" avoiding what you don't like. What happened to marital compromise?

    Allergies

I was only stating that mantids and roaches are related in the bug world and that people have stated being allergic to roaches. I was not saying you kept roaches!! :tt2:

    Allergies

People can be allergic to anything. I have read of people being allergic to feeder roaches and they are related to the mantis. Has your wife been allergic to other things that she hasn't liked in the past?

    Feeding newly hatched nymphs

It is better to wait a few days. You could lose less due to cannibalism by waiting than you could lose by stressing them out. Wait a couple days or until you see an unlucky sibling getting munched. Mist lightly daily.

what should i do with this dubia roach? think he/she is stuck in her own skin

She is probably dying. Feed her off quick or just get rid of her. Who knows what it could be? If it is diseased it might pass whatever is killing it onto the mantis. It is an adult, because she is shiny, so she isn't molting. Looks like she had some sort of accident and has been damaged.

Mantis on Matrix, 46 Million years old!

Man conceived time, so maybe God just took his merry time and it was actually millions of years as opposed to supposed days. Man has created thus "flawed" timeline. It was quite some time in coming, as some people "believe" people lived for hundreds of years a long, long time ago. Just saying.
