    Mendica nymph enclosure suggestions thread

I'm using meshed ketchup cups right now, should last them til around L4,seem to be doing fine, the ones you sent have already molted to L2 in them,I was maybe going to add in one tiny stick in each though, once they outgrow these I'll just use normal sized cups with lots of sticks and also mesh,one...

    feeding problems

Definitely looks like she is ooth heavy, allow her to lay the ooth before trying breeding,or you could rush a breed but the ooth may be laid the day right after, hope that helps, and they only need to eat every few days, females will eat so long as there is food until laying ooths,so I'm certain...

    Are these good for babies?

I would make it so the lid is at the top then? if thats possible, every 2+ weeks sometimes longer when a mantis is older, a mantis sheds its skin,so it usually needs an area that it can stick to or hold onto with just the back legs such as long bark, horizontal, diagonal sticks,or mesh usually on...

    Are these good for babies?

The only thing I don't like about these is there are not many long ways sticks or mesh which will save many mantids from mismolting, just looks like you may be short on molting surfaces, something to think about, and the asians, get pretty big quick lol

    Rekka's (Popa spurca's) set-up

That was lucky then,it just looked really wet and empty in the cage,so didn't want you to over spray them and lose them,im swimming in budwings, hoping to see other people also breeding them this year, all of my popas molt from sticks and the mesh lids,i think i keep too many now to customize...

    Rekka's (Popa spurca's) set-up

I found out that my room generates so much natural heat and humidity that i can't mist mine at all, except over the mesh lids,so here they are getting a dry approach and its working much better,so if you start losing any i reccomend using sticks and very little spray, got a bunch of these things...

Tenodera Sinensis hatch and release a success :)

I haven't seen the ones i released as adults but i'm sure they are out there, kept one pair indoors to breed,i think theyre attracted to the house lights which attract large prey items and we haven't been running our lights as often, looks like your yard will be full of babies

    Avicularia.Versicolor TS

I've wanted to get into Tarantulas this year and the versicolors are my top choice,so if anyone has any that are between slings and adults that is where I would like to start,as I know they mature a lot slower than mantids and also live longer,I don't want anything an inch or less however which...
