    papetowel rolls work the same and quartered potatoes work the same.

    Wide arm and no ooths

    Try to under feed it for a week, if it feels its going to run low on food sometimes they lay an "emergency" ooth thinking there not going to get more food. Humidity may also be another factor.

    Also, just so you know, if you dont leave them with something to hide under or in, they will freak out to death. 99% sure thats why you had a massive death. If you leave them out in the open they wont stop moving and freaking out and exhuast themselves to death. Eggcrates, toilet paper rolls...

    How do i get these things to hatch, lol.

    from the research i did, it doesnt matter how many clicks, each egg hatches for different reasons, it can hatch at 1 view or 1000 its just random becuase there are 4 different types of view that make it hatch. A good number to have to be safe is 100 views and it should hatch.

    so you have seen it done with butterflies...

    Best bet is to only introduce communal species, becuase the very very canabalistic species will over take everything and most of those species will go extinct in your life sized mantis room.
