Thanks for sharing! I've been to South Africa three times, and plan to head to Gabon this winter for some safariing. Looks like you had a blast! Did see all of the Big 5?
Indeed, they are so simple. Even easier when you get culture of springtails to clean up after them, virtually no mantainence, just feed and mist a few times a week.
Yea they are intense, on ALL levels haha. I just wouldn't feel comfortable around one, with the speed and aggression, potent venom etc... So I m staying with new world for now til I work up my confidence levels....
Yea Im not great with kingdoms and genus etc.. but I know what you mean....The slings are as gorgeous as they come, pretty friendly as well, but skiddish...
Yes, I have done all my homework, I now have 2 slings, one juvi. 2 A.P. slings, and the versi who is just starting to get HER adult colors. Next moult she should lose the blue fully.
It's not a monkey (tailless), its a Barbary Macaque, or Rock Ape. Most of the population is in the Atlas Mountains of Northern Africa, but a small group of about 400-500 live on the Rock of Gibraltar, noone really knows how they got there.
Once America starts producing decent cars I'd consider it. Right now Germany makes the best, so that's what I drive.... (And they have ALWAYS made the best, German engineering FTW!)
Also, females have that green ridge along the "shoulders", males do not. You def have a female there. Perhaps we can trade stock in a while, I have 6 L3's left from my hatchings, and need to get some new blood.
