    ghost or indian flower?

I'd have to respectfully disagree. Creobroter spp. are typically strong and can take down relatively larger prey compared to their body size. They only hit ~1.5" length while ghosts are ~2". Ghosts are much more communal.  Both are hardy and easy to raise and are tolerant of wide ranges of climates.

What Instar is my Deroplatys Desiccata?

Presub female D. desiccata. She's got two more molts to adulthood.  A closeup of the wing buds could confirm it

    Sale: Plistospilota oothecae, "mega mantis"

I have a few for grabs. Typically I don't sell ooths as it is a risky endeavor, but each one is the 2nd in line with the 1st hatching >200 each. While I guarantee fertility, I cannot guarantee hatching! If anybody would like tips I'd be happy to help.  Some pictures of the...

    Exploring Belize

I don't know the Stagmomantis genus well, but it's very similar to an S. carolina.  Collected along the hummingbird highway roadside in the brush, 1 miles southeast of the Blue Hole National Park visitor center on Feb 7. The other one has a stockier build than a Stagmomantis, I've seen pictures...

    ISO Plistospilota extra males

If anyone has males to let go of, I'd be interested in buying, trading, or giving offspring. These are for re-mating so not a necessity. PM me!

    Plistospilota guineensis

Finally got some time to breed these specimens. 3 females mated by multiple males so far with more to come. The females have not shown aggression so far towards the males; in fact, once the males dismount they've stayed side-by-side with the females in the cage. I'll have nymphs to offer soon...

    Data needed

Funny that you should post this, because I had an odd thing happen this week in regards to synchronicity. I collected 6 Tenodera sinensis wild oothecae from Erie county, PA last winter. All 6 hatched this summer but one produced only ~45 nymphs. The same ootheca hatched again on Friday...
