So I was going to get a Indian flower mantis, but then read that ghosts will be on sale in about a week (mantidkingdom). I know its the type of thing where I choose what I want to get, but I was wondering what you're opinions are, would you get Indian flower mantis or Ghost mantis? Also if I do get the ghost should I get two?

Ghosts are longer-lived mantises if you want a mantis that will live a long time. They also have a really great dance :p . I find that, at least in my experience, the c. pictipennis (which is the species I'm assuming you'd get?) like to be handled more than ghosts and are, of course, beautiful. The molt to adult is amazing. The ghosts are beautiful too, of course! My main frustration with the creobroter is their fear of larger prey and my main frustration with ghost mantises is how long it takes them to molt and to do it at seemingly unexpected times.

I didn't want to choose a species because they're both such great mantises to keep. And if you do choose to get ghosts, definitely get two.

I'd have to respectfully disagree. Creobroter spp. are typically strong and can take down relatively larger prey compared to their body size. They only hit ~1.5" length while ghosts are ~2". Ghosts are much more communal.  Both are hardy and easy to raise and are tolerant of wide ranges of climates.

also i only have enough money to get 1 ghost not 2 :( . so I think i will get a ghost and a indian flower :)

I guess I had some wimpy nymphs, then! :p  And I agree with your other points!
