    Collection at Cleveland Museum

The dates are those that the official holotype was named, unfortunately. I'm curious how long insects last in a pinned collection!  And yes, Choeradodis is even impressive when dead!

Your expertise is always appreciated, Dracus! It's morphology had me thinking Gongylus sp.

    Collection at Cleveland Museum

I spent the day a few months back at the Cleveland Museum of Natural History exploring the collection. Here are some highlights: Choeradodis, Heterochaeta, Toxodera, Archimantis Stenophylla Stenophylla assorted Choeradodis Phasmomantis African species, with some Plistospilota...

Is it okay to use a humidifier?

You didn't mention how often you were spraying them, but I'd stick to 2-3 times weekly with or without the humidifier.

Is it okay to use a humidifier?

They don't move much to seek out water, so I'd still spray them. I mist nightly for tropical species and ~2x weekly for grassland and desert species. I use the fogger at night for every species, including desert. You'd be surprised at the dew that accumulates in the desert.

    Rhombodera Basalis

They're a hardy species, so the basics apply. You can keep em warm and drier (temp ~80-85, 40% humidity) during the day, cooler and moist at night (~70 F with 60-70% humidity). I mist and use a fogger to keep humidity up. Give them good gripping surface on top since they hang out upside down...

    Fruit fly recipe collection

I use potato flakes as a base, a dash of honey, over-ripe banana, apple cider vinegar, and a multi vitamin all tossed into a blender. Add potato flakes and/or water to make it the right puree consistency (just runny enough to pour). Once it gets poured ~1.5-2" thick into plastic recyclable...

    Most impressive deimatic display?

Truncata have a good one too. Plistospilota is good, Heterochaeta is big and imposing.

Recomended temperature for Malaysian dead leafs

And 68 is too cold consistently. If it drops that low at night it's not terrible, just be sure to heat them to at least 78 during the day.
