tryed mating my ghosts (i don't have much experience mating mantids) the male finally went for it then the female grabbed hold of him and they both started flashing their wings. im still shaking now! i only have 1 male. :( shes been adult for 4 weeks, hes been adult for 6.

ah okay :) thanks for the info. i didn't have time to mate them this morning because of college so im gonna try in an hour or so when i get home. this may be a stupid question but, if i mate them in a net cage will he get his head bit off because he can't fly off?

okay :) i'll feed her up now. she better not bite his head off! i've got another female that needs mating next week.

haha i bought a L6 pair off eBay 6 months ago and i really didn't like them.. they reminded me of a spider and im TERRIFIED of spiders :P i ended up trading them for 4 L3 dead leafs which i love :)
