    Planted Terrarium

It sounds like you're interested in bio-active vivariums - NEHERP has excellent guides explaining the essential components that make them work so well: http://www.neherpetoculture.com/vivcaremenu I have several and I think they are absolutely worth it. It's definitely more work and can be a lot...

    Custom Vivarium Opinions Wanted

Those look awesome! the bases/tops really make them look elegant- did you custom build those too?  I used to live in CO - the low humidity is brutal (every time I go visit family my lips will start cracking lol) - If you end up having concerns with this I would suggest maybe looking into...

    Molting

Disinterested in food and yet their abdomen stays plump like they are full is the dead giveaway for me. Some will also become sluggish/not want to move much but this is harder to notice. Subadults will have wingbuds that will become swollen just prior to molt.

    Help with Heating vivarium

A 12w heat mat is not going to have the output to heat anything but slightly warm the surface it's attached to... I'm sure you are aware of this now ? I use ceramic heat emitters or halogen lights in combination with foil to heat my vivs. Though you have to be careful about ventilation if you...

Suggestions on where to buy isopods and roaches?

Oh, I didn't realize... in that case you might check out: https://capecodroaches.com/ (have never ordered from there myself but heard nothing bad about them), and Josh's Frogs. Those are the only two off the top of my head that sell both Dubia and isopods (though you will probably find mostly...

Suggestions on where to buy isopods and roaches?

I bought some "little kenyan" roaches from Peter this week, They get 1/2 inch at adult size (basically blue-bottle fly size) and the nymphs are fruitfly sized. I am actually really eager to see if I can get a colony going strong since they could potentially replace fruitflies and blue bottles...

New Jersey man caught by federal investigators

Yeesh that was a scary read until I got to this part... it's one thing if you buy something without verifying where it's coming from by accident or being mislead but it's another to try to mass import on the regular with no license.... guess some people think they can just do what they want?

    .

I keep mine in roughly the cup'o'flies setup from mantisplace and  let them hatch and gutload for a few days... then stick them in the fridge. :P they fall into an extremely low activity state and it's super easy to take them out and toss them into the enclosures with no prep time beforehand...
