Are there any signs other than the disinterest in food approaching the shedding of the exoskeleton?

Disinterested in food and yet their abdomen stays plump like they are full is the dead giveaway for me. Some will also become sluggish/not want to move much but this is harder to notice. Subadults will have wingbuds that will become swollen just prior to molt.

Some species wing buds even changes color.

Thanks, that seems to be what shes doing it could be nearly the time. My other concern with the Orchid Mantis is that her rear petal like legs have turned slightly pink, does the Hymenopus coronatus change colour at this age, is this normal, I was under the impression that they started pink and went to white. The shop had her for a month and Ive nearly had her another month shes been totally white up to now with the green belt.    any  thoughts ??

Orchids are white with pink accents as of L3. Some specimens are more pink naturally,  but in general they tend to turn more pink as they approach a molt
