Well not entirely as some species of ants participate in budding in which the matures inbreed and then spread out.

those are whip spiders, vinegroons have a more stocky body almost like a scorpion

@MantisGirl13Could just be genetics also. Like humans most animals can suffer from things we dont see or understand yet. could be just some sort of genetic defect that limited its life span. Another reason i want to establish my business so that some of these questions and mysteries can be answered.

Yep slowly but surely everything will grow

Right now I'm only selling fruit fly cultures as that's what I have readily available. Once my ooth hatches I'll sell most of those if I can. Plus when my ghost matures I'll have that. And itll slowly build

as i was reading your post i was just thinking the same thing that @MantisGirl13 said and maybe even include a list of what possible species could be in the box

i think it would work out pretty well  and depending on how successful it would be could also do specific species mystery boxes and then also could and probably would extend to other invertebrates

So just thought of a cool idea to do for my business is some sort of mystery box where you can get mystery ooths and mantises along with other mantis keeping accessories or supplies.

you could do a quick set up for if they actually know what colors they are and if they choose to ""blend in" on say some construction paper that is the same color as them or if theyre just silly killer insects
