    R.I.P. old man

I just thought I would put it out there that today I had a male Rhomodera sp. pass on that had been an adult for 7 months. He spent alot of time just hanging out in living room on the ceiling, drapes and plants. He had to be over a hundred in mantis years, and he will be missed.

    Katnapper - (US)

Becky took the initiative to offer mated female S. carolinas to me from an old classified posting I had given up on. She was a pleasure to communicate with and took the utmost care in making sure that the girls made it safely. Thank you so much. I hope we can do more trading in the future. Ray

    Are butterflies disappearing?

This has been bothering me for a couple of years now. It seems as though there are less butterflies around now than ten years ago. It has been three years since I moved up to the northern midwest of the US, and I feel as though butterflies are scarce up here. Surely that can't be normal, but I...

Hello all, I would like to get a breeding pair of Carolina mantids. I would be really happy if anyone could help me. It doesn't matter how mature or immature they are, even a mated female would be great. :) Thanks, Ray

Hello All, My name is Ray, and I'm up in central WI. It's been some time since I,ve kept "bugs" in jars, but a few weeks ago a friend who keeps tarantulas told me about mantid keeping and I thought it was a great Idea, so I ordered some hierodula membranacea from Mantis Place. Thank you...
