Mantis religiosa theart pose.This pic was taked day before this mantid's death.

She was not eating 5 days.One of my mantis died when she was fat,she almost laid an ooth.I was thinking this mantis will end same.

When i got back from school,i saw my pregnant female mantis religiosa(Katie) laying her 3rd fertile ooth.Was worrying about her.

I found her as adult,about week ago.She was alone in cage,i feed her small grasshoppers and moths.

Yesterday,i found that one of my female mantis religiosa,called midi cant move her arm ,the same thing happend to Mantis Jane Earlier.I was thinking midi will eat her arm and will be fine.Now today,i was checking my mantids,and saw midi laying on the ground with arm eaten. But i dont think it...

I was Keeping few males of mantis religiosa.And all of them layed on their back after 2-3 days. I think wild males are sensitive,and cant handle the change. So i released em in my garden and never saw them again.

I gave her to friend in another town,she laid an ooth there.I will get ghosties next year anyway
