More or less I'm not sure on the budget. I'm gonna guess anywhere from 250-400ish because it's Xmas gift money I plan to use, maybe a little of my own depending on how much more is needed.

Okay so I was just watching one of my mantids molting and at the end I noticed it came out with only 3 leggs So my quiestion is. Is it common for a mantis to pull a legg and it come off in molting? I keep them Hydrated with a misting every day so idk what could have happen with this guy.

Okay cool that is some good info. I just moved out to Wisconsin so they don't have any good pet shops near this location. So I needed to impovise and order some bugs in bulk to keep my babies fed. lucky for me my girlfriends father has some flies that were pupae so he did not want them any more...

Also the Ghosts are L4 been feeding them some big flies they are about the size of a nickle I would say the flies that is mantids are about 2x that almost

What can I feed a ghost mantis in the winter that I can order online in bulk and keep alive easy till summer.

Well my experience was with Chinese mantids and I would not handle then directly after a molt it would normally be a day or 2 after the initial day if they were not eating or acting funny
