Gave it 24 hours to dry up (molted yesterday), its about 3 inches in length. Sorry again for the poor quality, I will be getting a camera in the future.
Don't quote me on this because i'm a noob, but i'm pretty sure all female mantids lay oothecae regardless if they were mated or not. The difference being that if you didn't mate the female, the ooth wont be fertile.
Yeah, with ghosts you can easily tell the sex by the crest. Males have a skinnier/more jagged crest. I've also read that females have 1-2 kinks in the crest compared to 2-3 kinks on a male.

Hey, I was wondering if anyone here has had or knows if the raptorial spikes can be damaged by striking a hard object(walls of an enclosure)? Like when they go to strike their prey but miss and slightly tap the wall.
