looking for new species can you help??

I started with ghosts. Parasphendale is also very easy to take care of. Stinks that you gave up the wahlbergii, they're my favorite species by far :)

    Male budwing threat display?

Totally off topic- Have you kept him in a 32 oz cup his whole life? I'm wondering if I'll have to move mine when he's older.

    Green form Phyllocrania paradoxa

Also depends if it's recessive X-linked or not, as well. A lot of factors go into it and we unfortunately don't have all of the biological info about mantids to tell what the chances will be.

    Another newbie in your ranks

Yup, chaeta are awesome. I had one for a few instars but sadly lost him to a mismolt last week. they're definitely not the easiest to care for. from your for sale post, and my experience with ghosts, they seem like the best for you. I loved all of mine, and I'm on my last of four adults...

    'Chaeta stuck molting?

Unfortunately, I was forced to put him down. I was able to pull him from the molt but he was crumpled up and his arms didn't work, his whole body was bent from the position he was in.

    Collection starter

I've only owned wahlbergii and budwings, so take my advice lightly. I've had a lot of trouble caring for wahlbergii, not sure if its my bad luck or what, but i've had three die on my out of five, after having them not molt for around 3 months. It's cold here in Illinois, so maybe that caused...

Are Pseudoharpax virescens anywhere in the hobby?

I've had my eye out for them since early summer, and I have been unsuccessful in my search. So my question is are they anywhere still? If anyone has any, even if they don't want to sell them, it would make me feel better to know I can own these beauties one day :)
