I live in Oklahoma. During those cold nights, there was only slugs to be found. I didn't think she'd eat those sticky trail leaving sponges

So, I thought my cardboard wall would keep the 2 females apart, but after 2 days of cold and no moths, I guess Max got hungry and found her way on the other side. She ate the green female. So, with a heavy heart and not being able to provide adequate food, I released Max back to her bush out...

So, my new manty laid her ooth right there next to Max's ooth. Is that safe?

I know i probably shouldn't, but I do have both in there. They've been together for a couple of days now. They haven't fust with each other. I keep them fed with tons of moths. They both stay at opposite ends of the inside lid. Not much movement. I'll try to devise a little wall to get them...

Not sure why they love my front porch.... lol This makes 3 now in the past 3 weeks. Is it safe to put her in the same cage as the other female? I take it she's a Carolina to?

Lol, since I was a kid (I'm 44 this month) and heard they get their heads bit off, I always wanted to see if it were true. It never bothered me until I saw him struggling yesterday. So, I don't need to see that anymore. :D

I know I could search this, but since I'm here, how will & what will I feed these nymphs? Lol Oh heck, I'll go search... haha

Update. I can't go into the primary reason why I can't put him in the freezer, but I did take him out and set him free. My heart couldn't bare seeing him suffer, so I put him out on the front yard bushes. Strange how I wanted to see her bite his head off, but don't like seeing him maimed and...

The male I think is dieing. I think she chewed him up good. He's barely moving around, and one of his (claws?) Is missing. He used to have black eyes, now they're dirty brown.

So I got a new cage. And came home to an ooth. It's on the jar pretty good. Should I leave it or is it safe to remove? I feel like I'll break it if I struggle with it. I did get a glue gun and glued a popsicle stick to the top of the new cage top.
