So my L1 mantis that has hatched (only 1 has hatched so I think it's a scout) and it's been three days and it has not eaten. I have tried hand feeding and I can see it's mouth moving and eating a little but doesn't seem to want to eat

Thank you guys! So was it a bad idea to not diapause them? I had not idea it would make them weak. I was told to not diapause them as they don't need it :(  is it too late to try it? @CosbyArt @FluffyMantid @Connor

So my european mantis ooth has been incubating for about 5 weeks and nothing has hatched. The ooth is getting darker and I am wondering if that is the color of possible Mantids inside of it

Does a European mantis (religiosa) ooth have to be diopaused or whatever the word is for it going through the cold time, or can I just keep it inside to hatch?

Well it was layer on zipper so I couldn't cut it from netting so I peeled it off. Will this method still work?

So I have a European ooth but it was laid on netting, so how should I attach it to a lid for 32oz cup?

Yay!! I'm glad it should be okay. So you think I should like put it in a 32 oz cup and keep it outside till spring or just hatch it? @Connor and if I were to hatch it without winterizing it do I have to do anything to it?

So I waited 2 days and peeled it off of the zipper she laid it on like you guys suggested. So obviously a little would come of the ooth, will it be okay? It looks like just the very top layer came of a little and only on at the bottom of the ooth where it was on the zipper. Do you guys think it...
